I'm glad to have found this forum. I was a biker for over 40 years and enjoyed several motorcycle forums. I've been a Dodge truck owner for a long time, owning a full sized pickup back in the '80s. Since then I've owned several 6cyl Dakotas. I moved up to an '09 1500 4.7 flex fuel when we bought a travel trailer. We travelled cross country to visit several National Parks in the west and one trip to Florida, along with several shorter trips. Our 4.7 struggled, but always came through. We bought a new trailer this spring and made a trip to Florida, vowing to look for a more powerful truck to make the going a bit easier. We found a great deal on a 2015 1500 5.7 Hemi and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Unfortunately, it did not have a trailer brake control and after much research, I had to settle for a dealer installed module for $450. We're all set, now for another long adventure. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with all of you Ram lovers.
