So I took on this project this weekend. Finally the weather was good enough for a t-shirt, but beside that I was itching to relocate my amp and wire in my crossover. I was putting this project off till I had time and good weather. So this was where my amp was located. It was under the drivers seat, not bolted down or anything so it moved with every turn and bump.
I originally thought about putting in a track system kind of like a desk draw. I could roll the amp in and out when needed, but then I realized that the Floor heater vents made that impossible. So i looked to under the back seat where I found the perfect spot to mount the amp and crossover to a piece of plywood.
I ordered some box carpeting from amazon and proceed to go to work.
First I took a measurement of the area I was installing the amp and crossover in.
Now that I had the measurements, I cut the 1/2in plywood board (pictured above). Next I made sure the amp and crossover would fit on the same board.
