Moving the outlet from the rambox back to the bed?

I just got my new limited longhorn with the ramboxes and I noticed they moved the outlet to inside of the box which is somewhat of a problem for me since I would want to power my dometic fridge while I'm on the move (I use a power station while I'm stationary).

Has anyone out there attempted to move the plug back into the bed with the ramboxes? Any challenges?

My only suggestion would be to not move it but tap off and add another one. But I have not done it.
