here in michigan they already add anti-gel crud to the fuel so it isn't that big of an issue here, but when i see the forecast dipping to the 15* or lower mark, i will add anti-gel additive i have in my garage just in case.
If I still lived in IA I would not worry, but where in Portland Oregon area all diesel is mixed with Bio :( I don't trust the stations in my area, I have found out you can't get a straight answer from management about the diesel they sell between Nov 1 and April 1, the nearest truck stop to me is a 45 minute drive so treat all my fuel based weather forecast...

Treat your fuel yourself unless in far north….and I still would. Trust nobody when it comes to your truck.
