OK, your trip was 38 miles and 48 miles. Wow, that is a long trip to show
your numbers. That is easy to get when trying, but worthless in the real world.
Lets see a minimum of 1,000 miles, better yet 5,000 MPG
numbers.
You just reset your trip meter, show us a photo of before that..........
I know that will not be forthcoming.
Exactly what I showed. Nothing more and nothing less. I did not say I got 22 mpg every day all day. I said 70 mph on cruise. Simple. 38 miles or 5 miles.
Your reading something into my Post that I did not write. Why do you care. Especially since you think it's invalid.

I was just pointing out a whopper. Not sure why you would even post this.........

Why does the computer in the center RH gauge show 17 mpg? Is that the rest of the tank reading or lifetime?

On my post the 17.1 is lifetime for the kilometers to date, though at 694 kilometers even that isn't a whole bunch. It does show pretty consistent considering it is a mix of city and highway.

I just fill my truck up and calculate the miles driven from that fill up. my truck read 18 mpg when I hand calculated at 19.5. A little over 530 or so miles on 26 gallons 89 octane. 2019 3.21 cc 4x4 at 70 to 80mph. Keep the rpms low if your 4k rpm accelerating your mpg goes way down.

If I feather the gas and granny foot it I can get 17-18. Driving normally (not pushing it at all) I’m getting 13-14. I only have 1000 miles. Etorque Rebel 2022

From someone who's fuel economy seems to be stuck in the low 15's, you're able to achieve what I can only dream of.
I get a similar fuel economy as you with my EcoDiesel depending on what trailer is being pulled. Yeah I can squeak +28 mpg out of the truck if I set the cruise at 55 mph on mostly flat roads.
Speed is usually what clobbers fuel economy dealing with the aerodynamics of these trucks that resemble a brick, that gets compounded when pulling a trailer.

The truck is now 2 years and 5 months old with just over 20,000 miles. Mileage Per Gallon has slightly increased.
At 2 months and 2061 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 22.0 See Pic 1
At 2 years 5 months and 20469 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 23.2 See Pic 2
Both trips were on same Interstate 20 in western SC.
Combined Highway/City is now 17/18 An increase since new.

Floor it fun factor still there :p No MPG documented.

Just an FYI.

Try doing it with the actual numbers of mileage versus how much you actually put in the fuel tank. I've never found that using real time numbers matching the read out on the screen. It's like the guys who run out of fuel but it said 100 miles before empty.
But it is understandable why mileage would go up as engine breaks in. My break in for my wife's truck hasn't happened yet at 12,000 miles on a 6.7 diesel. I know the amount of DEF used, hasn't increased yet either. But then the end life of a diesel is different than that of a gasser. So is the break in too.

That would make sense. High wind resistance=reduced fuel economy. But I've seen my best fuel economy when driving through Montana at 70-80 mph. Speed limits in my area are 60 mph and below. And not much city driving.

Now do hand calculated..... Never believe the Lie-O-Meter. My '21 2500 tells me 17, but that isn't correct lol.

Awesome, good for you and the mileage. I too get decent mpg with my Ram...
I think quality control at RAM is lacking, seems the mileage is the roll of the dice. My 2021 Rebel with V6 Etorque, driving extremely conservative, has once got to 18, it’s usually 16 or less. According to the sticker and sales, should be 19/22/24.
Only reason I didn’t get the V8 was for the Mileage.

My 2019 Ram with 4x4 and 5.7 will get 22 mpg on the highway at 75 mph as long as there is not a head wind. And that is running about 1800 rpm! My old 2007 Silverado would not come close to that...

V6 works harder, my parents have a 16 cc 2wd. My truck hits 2200 rpm going up some hills the v6 hits 2700rpm sometimes 3 with a strong wind going 75 to 80.

I get better mpg during winter months then summer. 1, because of that blended ethanol and 2nd because summer I run the AC full time. Running the AC is my biggest drop reason but I’m not complaining about fuel economy to much. I drive a truck for a reason and not a tesla but glad to see your fuel economy is better then when new. Breakin does play a little role in this.

And plz note I’m not bashing you or what/how your saying anything. I’m only saying my experience. I have a 21 1500 limited crew 4x4 regular 5.7 with 3:92 gear. I love my truck regardless of it taking near $110 bucks to fill it up!!

Felled in saying our interstate speed limits here in AZ are 75, (and you still get ran over ******* people off if your going that slow), and with most hi-ways at 65. That two makes a difference I think.
