I get great mileage with mine
Much better than the 2010 Laramie with the 6 speed
A have no silly lift kit Standard 20 in tires Usual speed on highway 118km about 65-70m/h
75mph up here will get you a 150.oo speeding ticket.
Seems like if someone posts good mileage some one gets all bent and calls the poster a liar
****** me off , we should be above that stuff.

PS , it does not make very much difference on my truck, if it is in econ or all 8 cylinders at speed, if there is no wind ( rare) and flat
The numbers hardly change.

The truck is now 2 years and 5 months old with just over 20,000 miles. Mileage Per Gallon has slightly increased.
At 2 months and 2061 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 22.0 See Pic 1
At 2 years 5 months and 20469 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 23.2 See Pic 2
Both trips were on same Interstate 20 in western SC.
Combined Highway/City is now 17/18 An increase since new.

Floor it fun factor still there :p No MPG documented.

Just an FYI.

I have owned my 2019 1500 Laramie, 14k miles on it, 4x4, Crew Cab, 3:92, 6ft 4in bed for about 3 weeks now. Previous owner put some AT tires on it and I "think" its lifted slightly. Performance exhaust and a cold air intake. I have not done a whole lot of hwy driving, yet. The Lie-o-meter tells me I am getting about 13 mpg. I had a car that got 36mpg before this truck. I cry a little when I see the the mpg but if you are saying that I actually get worse mpg...I am headed to Costco to load up on Kleenex! Bawhahaha! Oh well!!

I think quality control at RAM is lacking, seems the mileage is the roll of the dice. My 2021 Rebel with V6 Etorque, driving extremely conservative, has once got to 18, it’s usually 16 or less. According to the sticker and sales, should be 19/22/24.
Only reason I didn’t get the V8 was for the Mileage.
So buying a V6 in hopes of better mileage over the Hemi is not happening...

My 2019 Ram with 4x4 and 5.7 will get 22 mpg on the highway at 75 mph as long as there is not a head wind. And that is running about 1800 rpm! My old 2007 Silverado would not come close to that...
Oh Oh now you did it. The Burger King boys will be coming after you......:) Did you take that truck to an independent laboratory to verify that MPG

I have the very same set up on my RAM 1500. If you check your mileage by the gas you used and the miles you traveled you will find you are much closer to 18 to 19 mpg. You can not get accurate mpg by what it says on your settings.

I get that. Real world scientific calculation will be different than what the dash tells me. That is a given. Could be lower could be higher.
Couple of points to ponder. I wrote:
"Mileage Per Gallon has slightly increased" Again, I did not claim 24/7 365 days a year mileage. Just a limited 70 MPH run on cruise on I-20. So, comparing numbers it "increased slightly". Simple statement.
And if you look at my last line.
"Just an FYI." Why the big furor is beyond me.
Also, your 18 to 19 MPG might get you a Whopper report from people getting only 15 mpg. So get ready to duck.:D

One thing I have noticed about some of the many variables for fuel mileage between RAM trucks with same engine and year is that some of them have wide oversized size tires, different brands & rims, some with lift kits and even those that are equal how you control your right foot also matters along aka do you jackrabbit up to speed or use what many call grandpa driving aka constant pressure on go fast pedal, flat land or hill country along with Hwy speeds all factor into what your fuel mileage is going to be along with the oil used, I suspect many will disagree with me on oil used... EDIT one other big factor that affects fuel mileage, not all gas is equal across the USA or Canada...

Try doing it with the actual numbers of mileage versus how much you actually put in the fuel tank. I've never found that using real time numbers matching the read out on the screen. It's like the guys who run out of fuel but it said 100 miles before empty.
But it is understandable why mileage would go up as engine breaks in. My break in for my wife's truck hasn't happened yet at 12,000 miles on a 6.7 diesel. I know the amount of DEF used, hasn't increased yet either. But then the end life of a diesel is different than that of a gasser. So is the break in too.
I was told 60000 miles to break in on my 04 5.9 diesel. No idea if that was true or applies to the current diesel.

I don't believe anybody on MPG on their vehicle. This one seems to be
a whopper...........
Cruise control on an open stretch of road does nothing for me. When I click over to average miles per gallon and it says 13 or 14 point something... That's embarrassing for a vehicle built this decade.

60K to break in the 5.9, no 10K at most, shorter if you had put a load in the bed or 3-5K tow and run it non stop except to refuel for a total of a72 hours, broke my 06 in that way aprox 3100 miles...

Just ran about 400 miles on a trip in my '19 Classic 5.7 CC, 5'6" bed, 4x4, tonneau cover, stock SRA tires, level, no muffler, Trutrac diff. A great deal with cruise set at 78 and half the trip was a bit windy. Calculated and display matched at 18.5 mpg. I had my wife and three kids with as well. Wish it was better but I feel it would be improved at 70.

I have a 2019 Big Horn 4x4 Crew Cab with a V6. I did a short trip (250 miles) on freeway all the way. From Knoxville, TN up I-81 to near the West Virginia border. Most of the way to WV was up hill quite a bit. I had the Ram Truck on Cruise Control set at 73 MPH all the way up and back. Staying with the big trucks except when having to pass. I then topped off as soon as I got home. I registered 21.5 MPG, the best I ever saw on my great truck. Normally around town it will register around 18.5 MPG with no air conditioner, 17.5 MPG with.

Before the Ram I owned a Honda Element 4 cylinder with half the room and only got 21 MPG. So I will never complain..so long as Joe Brandon stops causing gas to go up.

This is what the mileage on my 2015 2500 Longhorn Cummins looks like. About half of the miles are pulling a trailer with a skid loader or a mini excavator Stock except for a leveling kit and 35x12.5 x20 Toyo AT2 tires. I won’t complain. Just empty I easy get 18-19 at 80 mph.
