I'm on my second 2016 6.4. The first was a Bighorn with 3.73s and the new one is a Power Wagon.

We'll see how the two compare.

22 MPG combined last 21,000 miles, 2015 2500 4x4 Quad Camper Shell & G56 Manual

I have been driving this truck from 28k to 49k and that's really the combined MPG for the last 21,000+ miles. Stock Everything except KN Filter & camper shell with camping gear in back. 8400 Lbs stock at Registration & now 9900 Lbs so my 24 MPG dropped to 22+ MPG combined. I start in 2nd gear and keep my RPM under 3000.

Maintenance so far:
5k Walmart Delo Truck Diesel Oil & Fram Filter, $54
33k All Fluids & Filters changed/interval, $350+
80lbs air in all 4 stock tires
Air/Con used 90% of the time
Walmart DEF used $7.88/2.5 gallons
80MPH downhill I start using the Engine break on Auto
Nothing special...., sometimes I love looking at the 99 MPG when in Neutral going downhill for a few miles....
Estimated average cost per mile so far:
10-11C/mile Diesel
1c/mile oil changes
1c/mile DEF fluids
1c/mile All other filters & Fluids
1c/mile tires, aka Ram Take offs from others that Upgrade $100-300/set
15-17 cents per mile excluding Depreciation
--------------------------------------
56 cents per mile Tax Deduction per IRS = 300% write off per 1000 miles
or $5600/10,000 miles of work.

Surprised at the MPG, 24-25 MPG on Freeway 10,000lbs
Equals 3 Priuses or 75MPG at same weight.

to the member that wants a HEMI for the misses my 5800 mile life time average is 20.6, mind you most of my miles are highway ie 90% hwy 10% city. If one drives with a light foot decent mileage is possible.
