Muffler ideas ?

remember my old exhaust? the delete pipe? I had 2 resonators after that.........still loud (it was sweet really).

well **** i was going to order the reso and call it a day ..now WTF

I dont care if it is loud per say just in the cab it drives me nuts .

my thinkng was run the reso and extend the pipe farther to the rear of the truck , and just scrap the CB

Oh if you are just looking for quiet in the cab but dont care outside thats a whole nother ballgame. My XR-1 is quiet in cab but loud outside, had to be quiet inside or my wife wouldn't ride with me.

call a local muffler shop. they probably have a buttload of 'em........that they just took off of someone's chebby.

hell - I had a bud out here that needed exhaust to quiet the truck down for a trip - he went to the shop and nabbed one. Chebby muffler fit just fine.

The 3030XL should do you fine - its still going to have some "rip" to it, but better than nothin!

ok ok , im done now ..lol after reading more and bugin people for info . I decided to go with a magnaflow 13741 . It is a 3 chambered unit and is 36" long . From info i gathered on ****** honda forms ect .... no real info in trucks . The more the chamber the quieter it will be . And that makes since as the CB is one chamber and is loud as **** . Also you all said the bigger the quieter so 36" is the biggest i could find .

just dont dump that new magnaflow under the cab and it should sound awesome. I drove around a lincoln mark lt (eww furd) that had dual magnaflows and it sounded good.
