Thanks, first time I've done a proper exhaust. Before now I've only cut off everything to the cat. nice to be in a no inspection state. getting older and want it done right and sounding right.

I've decided to go with the flowmaster outlaw. will I need to use exhaust pipe adapters to get everything hooked up right?

You said you wanted to do a proper exhaust. Then don't use adapters/clamps and try to piece it together with pipes from the auto parts store and what not. Order the muffler, wait until it comes in. Bring it to a competent muffler shop that can custom make extension pipes and weld it in. My entire muffler swap, with a 3.5" chrome tip and everything, was only $250, parts and labor. Using adapters and such, you are just asking for a leaky exhaust.
