What options are there for a 2010 2500 Mega Cab 5.7 gasser? Will a muffler from any certain year/s of 1500 fit? Will a muffler for a 6.4l fit? I would like to replace the original muffler which is rusted through, along with the intermediate pipe. I would like to keep the resonator, which appears to be in good shape, as I want to avoid drone. I am fine with stock sound or a just a step louder, or with a deeper tone, but don't want a loud/annoying/drone-y sound.

I would like something that is a direct fit so I can install myself.

The only things I have found that are specific for a 2010 2500 5.7 are for complete systems, and I have found a stainless steel Walker muffler that is direct fit. I have found the intermediate pipe in aluminized steel by walker for about $40, and OEM mopar for about $110. Mopar replacement muffler is about $330, IIRC.

Not tons of direct fit options I’ve seen. I removed my factory and put a flow master on and it’s dumped under the truck. Drove is horrible and I’ll be replacing one day. My old factory muffler is sitting in back patio. If you were in Arizona I’d give it to ya.

Any 6.4 exhaust will fit a 5.7 2500 just need a reduced pipe to fit, I had a Gibson on my 2014 it really only droned between 48-53 mph
