Who owns muscle cars out there??? Care to post up some pictures. Older and modern ones.

I grew up at the drag strip with my Dad racing a 1970 Chevelle. We also owned a 69' Camaro at one point and one of his best friends raced a 71' Nova. Gorgeous black cherry color.

Now I'm interested in a Hellcat. Charger for the 4 doors so the kids can join me a little easier haha.

The missus said that if I get that car though she gets to have my truck :happy175:

More of a cruiser, I bought back my Dad's '64 Chevelle from his friend who bought it from him before he died.

my '71 Monte SS454, at one time I built a 468 that put it in the 10's, but I don't race anymore

I am currently building a .030 over, 10:1 454 with factory oval port heads with bigger valves, should be around 550 hp/600 ft/lbs torque

Do you have any pictures of that engine build?!? Sounds amazing haha. A 10 second car is damn fast.

My 72 Buick. Mild 455 big block, dyno'd at 532hp 567lb/ft. plus a 200 shot, 4 speed Muncie. Frame off restored/rebuilt/repainted all in house by me and a few friends. It was my first car, purchased in 99 and daily driven all through high school.

P.s. Love seeing all these A body GM's! I know this is a Mopar site, love them too, but the Chevelle/Cutlass/GS/Monte Carlos will always be my first love.

The project.... on the back burner at the moment.
Plans for it consist of a modern coyote motor with 6 speed auto, Mini tub to clear a 315 tire riding on a american racing shelby style cobra wheel, 18" in the rear with a 17" up front. Either a Maier racing or TCP suspension. GT-500 hood scoop, and front fascia being a custom mix of stock and shelby styling, narrowed/fitted bumpers, drip rails removed, modern style glass installation, painted in a two tone burgandy with pearl white on top and a tinted clear and all remaining chrome will be black nickle chrome. Interior will be tan leather and swede. mostly stock looking.

That is one BAD **** Brandon!

Completely agree. Look at that tire flex. Track opens for test and tune on Wednesday up here. I plan on being there to see people coming out with their winter mods. Can't wait.

Thanks. He sprayed it in the original Ember Red. I'm not too much for bright reds myself, but it would be a huge project to repaint it. Especially since the interior is also red.

Me too, but not the hellcat so much.....I want the SRT 392....not so much of an insurance jump and I don't want the payment for it...hellcat would double my rates, SRT 392 only adds 50% to it.

Been looking at them real hard.......I know I can get it, but not sure I like the hit my free money at months end would take. Would have to start planning bills again instead of just paying them all on the 1st of the month.

Just not sure if it would be challenger or charger..............................Even my mom likes it too !

Thinking it may end up being this....http://www.drivesrt.com/2015/challenger-srt/

The price is so much better ha. Good color choice. Sleek looking. My insurance quote wasn't crazy though for the hellcat. I didn't check against a 392 though. I was gonna go for the 392 but I know I'm gonna want the Hellcat even if I get the 392. It's this ridiculousness inside me that wants the fastest haha.

BUT from the sounds of it the IHI twinscrew supercharger might fit on that 6.4L SRT.
You should do it. Haha.
