That is the issue I am having with starting this on my 99 that I am planning to restore with my son. Everything is so expensive and you have to do it or it will just come back to bite ya.
Great work. I sure wish I had the time and space to get started.

Yeah it's definitely expensive. Parts that I didn't even think about keep adding up. Like the parts in the pic above. It's for the parking brake lever in the drums. Apparently not something that is easily found and if you do apparently are expensive. Plus finding some small parts that you'd think would be easy have been a problem. I still think I'll be close to my target on cost for stage 1 the build. Stage to is paint and body (minus floors and possibly making 1 bed out of 2). I just want to be able to drive it. I'm not diving too deep into the motor/trans. Few small maintenance thing's for now. Later on I'll do some upgrades.
