I've had this for a few years now & it was the family Road trip ride for the last 5 years. I had put a 5.9 Magnum with a 518 trans in it & it did well on the highway (19-20 MPG most of the time) way better than the truck it came out of. I pulled the motor when the trans went out & decided that the body would never get fixed unless I parked it.

I'm on the fence now about it & don't know whether to trade/sell for parts & stuff for my Shortbed. We don't have that many to ride now either

I love Gen 1 Crew Cabs! They are badass!

It's to bad it has so much cancer. I'd be tempted to just let it go and move on with my life. I hate rust.

The rockers are the only real rust & the pass side is the worst. Besides that & some rust at the seam in the floor that's it. the bed is something else though. If I keep it I'm reskining it to match my RC

Convert it to a Short Bed Dually and throw a Cummins in it. Lay rocker over 26s!

It's already lowered 4" in the rear & 3" in the front. I would like to do the Cummins thing but, I'm old enough now that I need to start finishing some of my cars or they will be wasted. The truck if it stays it will get the Magnum put back in it Right now I'm on the fence
