I got the truck from my uncle a little while back due to him buying a newer one. Before i got it, he had a wreck so there's some body damage to be addressed. Mainly the drivers door and fender need replacing. It will be a little slow progress but i'll update.

So far whats been done:

  • Removed stock muffler and rear half of exhaust. Installed a less restrictive muffer and stopped the exhaust right after the cab.
  • Partially de-badged
  • Painted the remaining "badges"
  • 2" Front coil spacers
  • 2" Rear angled blocks
  • Went up 2" on tire size and switched to a/t's (Roughly 33's)

Future plans:

  • New drivers door
  • New drivers fender
  • New rear bumper to replace dented up one
  • 37" tall A/T's
  • Bedline bumpers and silver portion of the truck
  • New paint
  • Darker tint all around
  • New headlights (Smoked lenses)
  • 1" body lift (Going to have to be a custom job)
  • 2.5" coil springs
  • Longer rear shackles
  • Adjustable link bars, track bar, drop pitman arm,new shocks, new sway bar ends
  • Longer,braided brake hoses
  • Steering stabilizer/brace
  • Upgraded steering dampener
  • Aftermarket mesh grill
  • Possible wheels
  • E-fan conversion
  • Interior trim pieces replaced (No wood grain)
  • Rear locker

Nice man. I like the color a lot. Can't wait to see the progression on it.

I love me some megacabs..
can't wait to see mods on that beast.

It's a bit slow for now but next up is 2" lift parts on the rear. Maybe within a couple weeks. Replaced my steering dampener today (well sort of. I ordered the replacement this morning)

Was exploring a possible new trail on my way home from work and had a nice photo opportunity that I couldn't pass on..

Ordering my 2" blocks for the rear on the 14th of next month and sometime before then I plan to pull the rear bumper and start bedlining the lower portion of the truck where it's silver..

I loved mine. Best thing I did to it since it was such a heavy truck, besides getting decent E rated tires (BFGs SUCK on these heavy trucks) was a Super Chips and a Transmission shift schedule. WOKE that truck up!It was like I had 300 more horsepower!

People who've done heads/exhaust/cam say the power they felt from just the shift schedule was more than all those put together.

Watch the recalls on the front end. Get those taken care of.. the tie rod ends/steering stuff..

Here was mine leveled.

My uncle had the truck before and I know he's had various recall stuff done. I've recently had it aligned and had to replace a few parts under there before they could align it. I get death wobble over 60mph and still investigating that.

Truck progress is going to be halted for a bit, BUT I did get my blocks in for the rear. Pretty nice. Much nicer quality than I was expecting. Install went fairly smooth. All that's left is to tighten them fully but as you'll see from the last photo, it started raining so I paused until I get back from lunch.

2" coil spacers off eBay. $35.
They're steel and look just like the stock spacer that was on top, but taller. I like it.

Since yours is a four wheel, my level kit for a two wheel would be different I'm assuming?

Highly likely but I'm not sure. I've only owned the one dodge so I'm not terribly knowledgable on the subject. I can check in a moment and send a private message.

Close. I don't go there hardly. Sometimes me & my girlfriend will drive over in her car for a day out or something. I stick to semmes/mobile mostly.

Will maybe be here by the weekend. I will update once the mystery part is installed.

It's been a little but I still have the truck and my changes will continue. Just been in the process of moving and a job change.

I have one new part already but I'm going to be ordering new headlights somewhat soon and want to wait and install everything at the same time. I will however probably remove my grill and paint it soon until I buy the replacement. I hate the chrome.

I did get a decent photo today while at my parents. Still needs to be another 6" higher for me to be satisfied but I suppose it's ok for now.

It didn't turn out perfect because I rushed last night, but I was bored so went ahead and painted my stock grill (removed inserts)

I plan to get one of the aftermarket ones with just the outer shell and mesh center later. It's just not as important right now on the parts list.

I like it better for now though personally.. need to fix the chrome on the front bumper too. It looks weird for now but using something different on that.
