My 6.4 sure seems to be getting a lot of attention here lately

I love the power of my 6.4 but the fuel tank size kills it for me. When I'm pulling my 7000lb TT I have to bring a jerry can of gas because the gas stations are too far apart up here in Northern Canada.
I ordered my 2021 Laramie with the 50 gallon tank. Increased my towing range 50%. Well worth the 300.00 option price.

Yeah me and my son can get about 200 miles out of a tank when towing our 9000lb trailers. Might be able to squeeze a little more but then you risk not making it to the next station

I actually don't think it's that bad coming from a Tundra. I go further while towing my almost 8k lb toy hauler with a smaller tank. I get about 265 miles between fill ups I used to get 215 miles in my Tundra with a 38 gallon fuel tank.

Hitechredneck, that looks basically like my truck. Mine doesn't have the cab clearance lights though. Definitely the best looking color out there!!! Not trying to offend anyone else who picked an inferior color

I put some emojis in there that didn't show up^^^that last statement was meant as a joke guys. They are all beautiful trucks, I just really like the granite crystal metallic color. I'm trying to get the wife to buy a half ton in the same color. She's not going for it...haha

Granite Crystal is definitely one of their best colors!

I agree I get a lot of attention now way more than with my Tundra. I wonder if it's the color View attachment 463017View attachment 463018
Possibly the color. My GTI is close and gets a fair bit of comments as well (in photo). ;)

I agree on the difference though. When I bought my 2017 it seemed like you were nearly a pariah for having a gasser. Now it seems 'normal'. I've heard a couple of folks from dealers to other drivers mention a lot of folks are looking for the 6.4s now.

My dealer said he wished he had more 6.4’s because the demand is so high

I've held a class A CDL for a decade now and work with heavy trucks every day. If someone gave me a Cummins, I'd trade it in on a gasser. My style of driving would kill a modern diesel, and not be great for an old school oil burner either. They are not made for my 5 mile commute. I need my personal vehicle to do everything, and that includes commuting. Plenty of people that picked up diesels when they were "cool" found they didn't match their usage, and start to pick up big repair bills because of it.

Dealers want our current trucks.......bad!

My Dealer can come to my front door and kiss my ar$e, but he ain't getting mine. Spent inordinate time and research modifying and maintaining how I want. Why on God's green earth would I let that guy get ahold of it now and make more money off of me just to start over again and risk a lemon? Screw 'em!

Please don't think I am slamming your truck but I am disappointed Ram is painting the bumpers when you order a two tone like yours! I liked it when they left them chrome. Obviously I am a little old school & like a little chrome. :)
I think I had the option of painted or chrome.
