It's starting to look like a shop! Got more work done today, tomorrow I'm assuming is going to be the last day of them working for probably a week or so I'm guessing because we are supposed to get tons of snow starting tomorrow night and going for like 5 days non stop.699166c4cf82e7e3b99528b8c7b3d28a.jpgbaca0aa180d0dfdcfbd448564e0b4f23.jpg70a24063f5145e7ae241ae9f2ac77796.jpg

Now is the time to decide if you still want a shop or prefer a greenhouse. It's amazing how fast it starts to look like something once the framing starts.

I wish I could say anything other than nothing but unfortunately, nothing yet with the shop. The trusses are there sitting on the ground and that's it. Still waiting on this gosh dang permit! We do however do our final walkthrough on Monday and he just got the occupancy permit today so after the final walk through Monday we are good to move into the house. Heres a few updated pics in the house. Dont have many but I'll get more once I'm in next week
Getting really frustrating waiting for my shop to start, but nothing we can do until we get the permit. 327e09662cb6f2234900421c57248817.jpg

Thank you guys! We pretty much dropped all our money into building the house to our wants on the land we want and my shop, I actually had to spend my 4th gen savings for things I added into the shop [emoji57] but o well, only doing this once so want to get it perfect.
I did also get rid of the fancy front of the shop to match the front of the house, it was going to be a extra 10k that I didkt want to spend just for looks. But paint will still match and I think that's plenty good enough

Can always redo the front fascia if you change your mind in the future.

Today is the first day back to work on the shop since the roof was finished. It took two weeks to get the siding made so that Is supposedly what the hold up has been. But workers were all showing up this morning as I left for work so they are back at it finally.
Nothing new in this picture but at least it's a daylight pic. Hopefully I'll have progress pictures tonight

Was asked about a price breakdown so here it is. The doors are being custom made to match our custom made doors on the house and also hes doing the front of the shop to match the front of the house (my wife's demand lol) so that's why those are expensive. Hes doing the heat for free because we went under budget on a few things for the house as well as the overhead airline hes just throwing in for free and didnt list it9f846cd18010742827eed91e650fc9f6.jpg

Heres a updated pic, not moving very fast lately but do have some more work done. Waiting on inspections [emoji58] have the gutters and downspouts on, plumbing and drains are all in and routed for my sink, and just yesterday they crew came out to pour my slab as well as all the trims around the house. Blankets were left on because of the temperature but should be off when I get home so I should be able to get some pics
