Consider debadging it. Would look really clean with the color-matched and blacked out look.

I worked in a collision repair shop way back. At the time, a lot of badges had posts that went into drilled holes. Is that the case these days? I'd love to remove all the badges on the tailgate at least. How is it done? Gentle heating with a heat gun?

Most of them are just stuck on with adhesive. The large Ram logo in the center of the tailgate is an exception.

I used my wife’s hairdryer because I was nervous about a heat gun burning the paint. Be very careful with the fishing line or dental floss. I rubbed a gouge in the clear in one spot.

The Ram 1500 letters on the doors were a harder adhesive that didn’t rub off with GooGone or other adhesive solvents. I wound up buying a 3M eraser wheel for most of that glue.
