Are you running this rear setup??? I did not know that. How well is your performance with it?

I wish :) They were one of the vendors in the Pomona Offroad this year and had a RAM 1500 among other vehicles showing up their LT setups. We did chat about the truck and some of the things they did. Their rear is a King 2.5 triple bypass with custom progressive coil springs, custom sway bar links / rear control arms/trackbar and limiting straps. they advertised 12.5" rear travel with their setup.

Went with the Edelbrock. I'm a pretty big fan of it, but I'll be rebuilding the trans soon...

I have a throttle body, headers, and new brakes coming this week too.

Daaammmnnnn those are bad setups man. Was it worth that money though? I just kind of gave up on the idea and figured I would just spend half of that much and do cam, intake, and exhaust setup with a good tune to get some more performance out of my truck.

I'd say if I got a new RAM I wouldn't spend it again, but it sure is fun!

This is badass. Did you get the fiberglass or carbon fiber? How much of a PITA were the bedsides?

They're telling me 4-6 months for CF right now.

I got the fiberglass and the bodyshop was cussing me the whole time. I guess the bedside are a real pain. The CF may fit a little better.

I talked with Greg at Dirt King about the CF last night and he said they consistently use Fiberwerx and prefer the FG over CF because it is more workable if changes need to be made since they are all hand laid. Makes sense to me so I think I'm rolling with FG. He also made a call and Fiberwerx committed to a 2-3 week turnaround on FG.

That's what I was afraid of. I have a Dirt King full LT kit coming (front and rear) and was hoping to get these on their way at the same time. Do you have any close up pics of the finish particularly around the bolts?

So here are a couple pics of my mounting bolts and the imperfections with the tailights and gas tank filler nozzle. Also I took out my center flip seat and built a custom subwoofer box for 2 12 inch subs and an amp and I love it. I mounted it to where the center seat was mounted so it isnt bouncing around when I am flying through the dunes. And lastly I thought everyone would enjoy my truck towing a chevy home lol.IMG_1317.JPG IMG_1319.JPG IMG_1322.JPG IMG_1325.JPG IMG_1326.JPG

Does anybody know the length of the dirt king bypass shocks? I am considering just purchasing the core4x4 parts and upgrading rear springs and shocks.

Hit up dirt king. Extremely helpful and easy to work with. I am sure they will answer that question.

If they give you that info post the specs, i'm interested in the extended/compressed specs on those rear bypasses.

Glad to see you're having fun with the truck and the setup. It's awesome to see such a big truck grabbing that much air :)

Do you have any issues with the rear? Do you have it lifted at all? I installed the DK rear and it feels awesome...I'm just worried about the 37s I'm about to put on.

Do you have the DK springs that comes with their kit ? they didn't provide any lift ?
I'll be getting the rear bypasses only from DK and using the 2" Superlift 140 coil springs with those, though i'm waiting to get the springs installed first and make sure i'l like them before pulling the trigger on those bypasses.

I got the full rear long travel kit and bypass Kings. Stock measurements were the same in the rear. I know I have some adjustment still.

How is the clicky sound compared not to having bypasses ?
Nick from DK told me today i'll hear clicky noises if i've never used bypasses before and i've never had.
How would you rate the noise (assuming you can compare to something similar in loudness)
