what is the reason for this?

i just ordered a pair of wadestar RM10 blind spot mirrors. but ill be hesitant to put them on if im supposed to un-**** these mirrors first.

any ideas?

Just clean the truck mirrors with isopropyl alcohol (or rubbing alcohol) before applying the blind spot mirrors. They're great spot mirrors, not sure what the grief is about installing them
