Even though the Readylift is a better deal in my opinion as far as cost and the height, sadly I’m going to order the Mopar 2” lift. I have an extended warranty and yes I know they have to prove the lift was the actual cause, but I want to keep the peace.

If I want to get crazy and do a lift with big wheels and tires, I can buy a earlier 4th generation and lift that to my hearts content. I’ll post photos after it’s done. :)580f820b0571256cddc198be2212206f.jpg

Nothing wrong with that. As long as you're happy with the look then that's all that matters. I wanted to do the Readylift 3.5" kit but don't like the idea of basically using nothing but spacers for nearly 4" of lift. Went with the 2" level instead and will be putting it on this weekend. If I want it taller after this I'll wait until a true lift is out and take care of it later on down the road.

Of course now I am on the hunt for a 4th generation Crew cab with 8 speed, 3.92 gears and anti -spin differential. Prefer cloth seats and no bells or whistles.

I looked into doing the front level kit from Readylift also as that’s all I had on my last Ram. I’m also feeling that even with the Mopar only being 2” that will be more then enough for this cowboy ha ha ha..

Also is it really considered a “ lift “ when it’s only 2”s ?

Im encouraging you to "get crazy and do a lift with big wheels and tires.....and lift that to my hearts content"!!! That's just me, I know you may have limitations since your accident. Hoping the best for you in your search.

IMO, if the rear end isn't being raised to level out what you have lifted in the front then that"s what I call a "level"

I’ll see if I can get them to also take photos as it is being installed. :)
That would be great. Even good under the truck pictures completed while it's still on the lift would be good.

Now to be honest I’m going to run like this for a little bit as wheel shopping is NOT my strong suit. I’ve seen wheels that I like but either they are black or chrome, neither of which appeals to me. I would prefer a grey, or at least high gloss black so so they don’t get “ buried “ in the wheel well.

Sorry to overload your thread. But these are as close to the mono block style you want and in grey

Now see that’s what I am referring to. I’m not knocking black wheels, it’s just around here every 6” plus truck around here runs on black wheels.

Trust me I can use all the help you folks are willing to give. I had three new sets of wheels and tires for my Subaru as every time I purchased one set before I even installed I found another set lol.

Oh it was, so much to the point where I own two storage centers to store my impulse buys. I’m not doing that this time as in if I don’t want it when I buy it, it’s being sold at a loss if needed.

I found (2) sets of wheels real quick that I like but not in black.c396cb575dd2065e69916f75b263d668.jpg05be50863fc991db20d0a688b14cb28c.jpg

I ordered hostile exile with my Toyo rt mounted balanced with temps sensors. They should be in next week. My lift comes in tomorrow.

Wheels are tough. They either make or break the look
