NAV on Uconnect 8.4A?!

Does anyone here know if it's possible to get the dealership and/or Uconnect Canada to install navigation on my Uconnect 8.4A? I know the 8.4AN system comes with NAV but I read somewhere that you could call the dealership or Uconnect and have it installed in the 8.4A system. Appriciate the help folks!

Two different systems. You would need to buy the 8.4AN and install it.

You can't install the 8.4AN in a truck with the 8.4A. The 8.4A is however NAV ready. It's about $600 for a dealer to enable it. It's not the same as the 8.4AN since you don't get 3D maps or HD radio.

So would it make sense to get it installed from the dealer? How useful is the 3D maps feature? Thanks again! Cheers!

do some more searching on this forum and you will find a guy on ebay that many have used who will sell you the code and show you how to enter it for 199.0 and another 65 for the latest maps.

Awesome. I want to get navigation but don’t want to pay the 600 bucks! Seems a little steep but would much rather have it on my truck then my phone.
