Navigation won't orient

2014 2500 with 8.4 display. Navigation doesn't orient itself to the direction I am driving. The map and the arrow denoting the truck point in any direction they choose. I used to be able to change to a different display screen and back to navigation and it would right itself, that no longer helps. I have done the latest software update and even purchased the ridiculously priced map update but they didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.....Paul

Isn't there an option to either have "north up" OR the direction you are heading be up? Changing that option would affect the behavior you describe.

If you drive in tight left hand circles with the driver door open (seatbelt on). It should calibrate the compass.
