Need Help Removing Radiator Drain Plug

I have 2017 ram 5.7 rcsb and the drain plug is just spinning in place i tried pulling it out and nothing pls help

turns out this my coolant level from the resavoir, it might be because theres no coolant

The plug is not designed to pull completly out, just a couple turns and the coolant should begin to discharge. However, if continued turning the plug should come out. Are you using a hex bolt or socket to remove? If memory serves me correctly, a 16mm socket fits over the plug.

i had the right hex bolt but i was doing it wrong, i was supposed to pull and turn the ratchet while doing it.
But coolant drain was a success
