Need help with Front axle verification / install

Hello, I am so confused right now as I have just now removed my front Hub and Axle assembly, but the teeth are different (see picture - bottom is stock, top is what I received with a "guaranteed direct fit") Is this normal? Should the teeth be this different for an aftermarket part? Or did they in fact sell me the wrong part?

The top splines are typical for a Dodge Gen II Dana 44 left inner axle. The other you are showing is the stock Dana 44 axle end at the center axle disconnect, the right side.
If they both have yokes on the other end.
