So I’m thinking about tinting the headlight bezel in my 2019 2500 but I’m concerned about the stock light power, it’s already not the best. Any idea for a solid product that is somewhat easy to install? I’m a plumber by trade, not a mechanic.

What headlights do you have? Are they projector type?

If so, a good HID kit in those really improves light output.

we are here to help. Do you have the projector or reflector quad headlights? Tinting the lens will make your visibility a lot worse.

I recommend any sort of good +100/+130/+150 type halogen bulb. Good brands to choose from would be:

  • Osram Nightbreaker Laser
  • GE Megalight
  • Philips XtremeVision
Stay away from the Silverstar bulbs commonly found at parts stores and Walmart:

I just bought the katana H11 on Amazon, they are 50ish bucks for the pair and plugged in and worked with engine running and no warning lights. Remember to use the access panels in the wheel well, was about a 5 minute job per side that way. I stuffed all the wiring inside the headlight casing and the dust covers went back on without issue.

never mind, just realized you have the projectors, so I can’t speak to that.
