I currently drive a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the 5.7 Hemi. It has around 61,000 miles on it. I bought it in March with 55,000 miles. Anyways, its only happened three times since I got it, but it will start to "pull" to the left. Essentially the front, drivers side brake is sticking. This happens when I'm driving through an area where I may have had to use my brake a fair amount. The thing is, the brake eventually will stop sticking without me doing anything to it. So I initially thought it was the caliper, but I am confused why it has only done this 3 times. Wouldn't if the caliper was failing, it would just fail?

Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Id suggest just taking it apart and cleaning the old grease off the slide pins and then adding new grease or replacing those slide pins completely, they arent more then three or 4 dollars a side last i remember.

Ya know, I only know this because I just went thru some brake issues with mine. But while the dealer was diagnosing my issues, one thing the service advisor told me was that it may be a failing / loose plug on a abs sensor on one of the wheels. My pedal was getting soft at real low speeds and he said that if one of the sensors was telling the computer that it was going 0 mph, and the other three were saying 5 mph, etc etc. Anyways, maybe you have a sensor on one of the fronts that is not allowing the right side to apply the brakes. Mine ended up being a bad hose where the shop that installed ny Bilsteins dropped the caliper and damaged the hose. Good luck.
