I'm not sure about your year but atleast the CRs are easy to prime
I've spent 4hrs priming the dt466 after changing the fuel filter and water seperators in our international

If you have an air dog or similar lift pump you can but leaving the stocker doesnt hurt

Agreed ^ , But I am retaining my stock filter location and running a raptor 150 pump , same maker as the air dog minus the filter

Erik, you just returned your truck back to stock, so you may as well do something, i would sell it and wait until after your deployment and sit on the cash than think of what you want to do, because you have your beamer and your bike to get around.

I almost bought a CTD before I bought this 2012 but in the end I went with the Hemi for the fact that.. I already have a 2012 Cummins as a work truck.. and I got the lifetime powertrain on the hemi so as far as longevity on a gas motor I think I'll be alright.
