The factory nerf bars on my 2009 Dodge Ram were rattling a bit so I tightened them up a bit, but not too tight as I figured these were using riv-nuts.

Does anyone know the torque specs of the brackets where they attach the the body? I didn’t want to over tighten them and I can’t find the specs online anywhere.

There's a German spec that I use called gudntite.
If you're worried about it coming loose just use some blue loctite, snug it good, and forget about it.

I got a new set of go rhino d4 steps today and it says 30 foot lbs in there instructions so I would assume it would be close to the same as the factory.
