Well I never left after buying an F150 but now I’m back in the family again. Picked up an Octane Red 2021 Charger R/T yesterday. 28K miles and adult owned. Even the exhaust is completely stock which is what I was looking for. Sure wish I could get away with shutting off the MDS without voiding the warranty/ the drone is pretty annoying at 60-65 MPH. Don’t really want to drive in Sport mode all the time either. Anyway I’ll be changing the oil over to Valvoline Extended Protection 5w30 very soon. Not sure if I’m going to need the Lubegard yet though.

That's a nice looking Charger, congratulations

I love the Chargers and that is a gorgeous one!
I’m trying to convince the boss to dump her 2.0t Terrain Denali for a R/T Durango…or a 392

We had a 2013 Durango R/T and it was a great traveling machine... not perfect, but still an excellent vehicle.

They work the same as the trucks, manually move the shifter over, and shift the tranny till it's showing 8th,and that will disable mds

If you're changing fluids, swap out the unicorn p!ss in the rear diff to something like Redline 85W-110 or Amzoil 85W-110. My wifes 1320 has the famous ZF howl and swapping to Redline 85W-140 made a hell'va differance in it,but if you don't have the howl ,85W-110 is a good upgrade.

Unfortunately it’s the 2.62 open one. I’ve already started shopping for a 3.09 LSD but the prices on those seem to have exploded too!
It'll get wicked highway milege with those gears,as it'll be just over idle ,lol. Go onto a few of the Charger and Challenger pages on facebook,as you'll find the odd 3.09 diff for sale, but as you stated, most guys know what they have, and they aren't exactly giving them away. After 2019 you can get away with wiring the active exhaust open with-out a check engine light, if you want a bit more noise

Pretty well all Scatpacks after 2015 came through with the same 3.09 diffs as the Hellcats have. The 1320's and the wide body Scat's after 2019 usually also have the 41 spline axle shafts,so you might have to swap axle shafts to make the swap
