Hi everyone,

I just purchased a new Ram 1500, Bighorn, Blackout addition, 4x4. I like it so far, although it only has about 60 miles on it, lol. I figured I'd join a forum since it's typically a great place to find info and ask questions. I'm not sure how much I can contribute, but I'll throw my 2 cents in now and then, but mostly lurk.

Traded in my 2011 expedition, with 204k miles, and very little repair work needed over the last 11 years. I'm hoping to get the same longevity out of my Ram. As everyone knows, the prices are insane. But if I can get 10 years and 200k out it, then I'll be happy.

Anyway, I look forward to reading and such.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have a 97 jeep TJ, and the wranglertjforum is a great place too.
This is the only pic I have so far. It's at the dealer as I was buying it. I have running boards on order so I can get in and out without wearing the seat out. It's a few inches lower then my expedition was, but I think I still want to step into it. Need to get a bed cover and/or a tool box. I'm not sure which one yet. The bed already has a dealer added spray on liner.

Welcome to the forum, I'm new myself and with all my vehicles I try to find a forum so I can gain knowledge and contribute things I've learned from my personal vehicle owner perspective.

Mixed Feeling:
I have 2022 1500 Laramie 1500 with Night Addition & Package B:
I like the truck looks, fit and function and proformance.
I am totally unsatisfied with Uconnect 5, constant problems. I am Frustrated with 14.2MPG driving very gentley. After paying $64300 retail (56+ discounted) 1. A 4x4 truck should include skid plates. 2. With package Trim B and BA should have Blind Spot Alert. Better color selection for navi. No tow hooks, cheap. No bed lights or prewired, cheap No bedliner, Cheap. I am screwed with BSA no options at this stage. Dealer misinformed me telling me BSA is not available for any trim.
As far as technology my wifes 2019 Honda Pilot Touring puts this thing to shame.

I hope RAM reading this forum very unhappy customer. Last RAM for me and anyone I know.

Transfer case skid plate $63 OEM and not incleded in 60k truck????? Accountants runing the business what happened to engineers?

Nice, lots of options on bed cover. Trifold, roll n lock, full cover (painted to match truck), etc. I personally have full tonneau cover for MY 19. What works for me, depends upon what U plan on doing.
