426 stock I believe. He said that, estimating his mods and what they are SUPPOSED to add, he should be around 450HP??? That is from him and not from me.
Well I have a bone stock SS, 2010 (exact same as the 2011s)
And the car may say 426 hp stock, but in reality that dips down to 355-370 at the wheels. I have beaten a few newer Rams and a couple 5.0 Mustangz, of course I'm comparing all stock for stock races. And the Camaro doesn't struggle against the 5.7 Rams, but the Mustangs are driver races every time.
What I'm getting at is i think that SS may be running 87 octane or the computer is stuck in 87 mode (fixed with a fuse pull) because with mine i easily beat the new Rams. But i still gotta say.. The new Rams are basically bigass Dodge Challengers.
Also, most Camaro mods are literally pointless. Like on there, the Cold Air filter stuff is bologna, and unless he is putting some serious money into an exhaust setup, and maybe a Camshaft, I highly doubt he is 450hp with that stuff.
Cold air kits will maybe add a piddley 5-10hp if that. And exhaust systems are practically pointless on that motor when internally stock. Maybe he is running 380-395rwhp and thats about it if just simple bolt-ons
And yes I am a Turbo+Camshaft supporter. Those are the best things to do to a vehicle in my opinion if you do it right.
