New camshaft and lifters

Got the truck back from the dealer this morning. It’s like driving a whole different truck. Replaced all lifters and camshaft, tapper hydraulics x2, sensor brake pedal? Almost $4000,

That's good to hear. MaxCare? I have that too and have had good luck with Lory at Bayway Ram in Pasadena. Do you have any mods they give you crap about? What was happening that made you take it in?

The extended warranty is Vision. No mods that would of voided anything. I thought it was the Hemi tic but I could hear the metal, the lifter bearings seized up and wore groves in the cam. Truck has 153000 miles.

So I assume you went with all stock parts though correct?

Yes the service guy told me that if I wanted performance parts I would have to pay the difference.

Do you plan on getting rid of the truck now. Wondering what damage was done by the metal pieces going through the engine.

No I plan on keeping it. Just also plan on getting a new one ! I took it to a oil shop I trust and he screened the oil when it came out and there were no peices, so I decided to just keep it.
