Baja designs SAE were not cutting it. The beam is more of a flood and does not project down the road enough for my liking. Decided to install morimoto yellow projector fogs to see how those work. While I was at it I added 4 baja designs squadrons pro and made a bracket. Found a grillie insert I was able to make work. I will get night time photos later tonight.20230128_083442.jpg

I like how you've mounted the 4 fog lights centered on your truck.
Do you have any more detailed pics of the bracket holding the 4 lights?

I'm going to explore doing something similar on my Ram. I need good fog lights where I live and while the OEM LED fog lights on the truck are awesome driving lights, they're crappy fog lights.

Nothing crazy really. I took 18ga stainless steel and bent it up to fit under bumper lip on the inside. I drilled holes down through the plastic insert through the bumper itself as well. Found a cheap grillie insert and made it work as well.

Thanks. That gives me more fuel for the thought process.

I helped a machinist friend move all his insanely heavy toys (5K-8K #s) to a new place last year. I'm confident he has a bending break among all his stuff.

We had a couple snow days at work. So while everyone cleaned I pulled my truck inside and went to the scrap pile lol. Literally took me 10mins to measure cut and test fit lol.

I'm so envious of those that have a shop and/or lift to work on their trucks.

I think that might be a good priority for my next house. A smaller laneway with a big shop & a lift.

My buddy did that on his Tacoma pretty pleased with them. I'm not a fan of them on my hood. I am waiting for wire mesh grills to come out and I want to install 6in spots behind grill lol.

Morimoto fogs. Not the best I'll keep them until I trade in my SAE bajadesigns.20230128_180215.jpg20230128_180221.jpg

I'm thinking about a Randy Ellis bar for the front and then the bangers on that eventually....gotta get caught up with everything else first.

Should go big round lights with that bar. Like the kc gravitys I've always like that look.

I like the Morimoto BigBangers, they have some pretty awesome output. Need to save for a set of those....maybe when I get my retro check....????

They are 6 inch pods, so plenty big enough. The KC are decent, but these look to have an incredible amount of light down the road.

Two center spots in the middle and two combos on the outside would be killer.

Those look nice. Same price range as baja designs LP6. I am wheeling and dealing with my mechanic now and got two LP6s on the way. Ordered a wire mesh grill so the lp6s will be behind the grill.
