New from central PA

Hey guys, new here from central PA. My name is Justin and I'm 22. Just got started a new job as an RN and bought myself a graduation present. I traded my first car, 2000 Xterra, for a 2014 Black Express crew cab.





Looking forward to learning a lot about Rams especially since this is my first one. No major plans for it yet I just tinted the windows, planning on ordering a Boesch Built 14" kit maybe this week or next, and a few small things like tinting my tail lights and third brake light, an LED bar for the bed, and I am looking for a rack for the bed to haul mountain bikes. If you have any input or recommendations about any of that I would love to hear them especially about the muffler, not sure if 14" will be too loud but I am also afraid 18" wouldn't be loud enough.

Yea I installed it last weekend and love it. Definitely glad I got the 14" because 18" would've be way too quiet, barely noticeable I would imagine. Drove it on a 3 hour trip on Thursday with three women in the truck and not a single one complained, very pleased with the lack of drone from this muffler

Awesome, glad to hear it. I know it's scarey picking one out. I have the 18 and I like it. I have thought about messing around with an electric dump cut out for just screwing around, but I wonder how much that ticket would be.

Yea I was seriously so close to ordering the 18" and then even after I had ordered the 14" I was nervous I made the wrong choice up to the moment I started it up I was a little weary at how loud it'd be. I think it's all relative tho also. For someone who is used to a more mellow sounding exhaust the 14" would be annoyingly loud. My Xterra had a cherry bomb extreme that droned like nothing I've ever heard before so to my ears nothing is loud anymore.

So how is the 18"? My dad is looking at getting a ram because he is in love with mine but I think the 14" would be a little much for him if he gets one.
