Hello I am in need of some help I have a 2003 ram 2500 4x4. The transmission isn't working I called dodge gave them my vin they said it takes a 45rfe transmission. The reason why it does not work is because someone that had it before me put a 545rfe in it and from all research is the programming would be different so now I'm on need of what all year dodges with 5.7 had that transmission that would fit my 2500 4x4

Thanks everyone I'm new to he site but not new to owning dodge trucks. I sold my last few I had yrs ago and now I got a good deal on a 03 2500 for 1000 bucks but the trans is wrong according to dodge my truck uses a 45rfe and someone put a 545rfe in it that y it doesn't work
