It's brand/vehicle specific. The box it comes in should list all the vehicles it's compatible with. Just find your year truck and double check it connects into your factory plug. If you already cut it off, may as well just take it to the store with you and match it up lol

Not as simple with his truck.

They have multiple versions of that harness since it's been around since 2005ish I believe. Unfortunately the cheap $20 harness does not work, even though it plugs into the harness fine. The CAN wires are used for radio turn on, so he needs one with a interface module. Either the PAC device I listed early, the Metra Axcess harness, or the Maestro RR with the CH1 would work.

Alright so i hardwired it to my battery like one of you said to do, and the fuse blew. So basically what i can get from that is that the radio is DOA and i need to return it correct?

I tested my connections for grounding issues n stuff and all my writing was good. I should've had faith in it since i build computers for fun. But I've heard of pyles coming doa. But I'll give them 1 more shot

Take it as a sign, buy something worth the trouble...I'm gonna assume that the interface for that Pyle touchscreen is gonna be slow and laggy. If not right away, over time. I like the idea of the oem touchscreen. But again, it's your money

Does oem use android well enough? Is it something you can plug in your phone to a USB and use Spotify, or is it just an audio in jack? That's my only thing with using an aftermarket radio, I love using my USB port to charge my phone and play music. I never really use the radio or CD player, and my apple maps is way better then any regular navigation

In theory - this is great. The problem is the processor, ram, and garbage touchscreen..... you can always spend the money on a good unit... which does direct mirroring and control of your Android phone.

I like the single din with the touchscreen pop out design. Even if the motor does go after a while. Maybe after i return this pyle I'll try looking for a better quality one, that still has an android OS

My plug and play USB was built into my passenger console and its a hassle to reach over to it every time i want to use it

The Pioneer is light years ahead of the Pyle. Not sure about that one - but if it runs AppRadio mode - you should be able to do direct mirror and control your Android phone from the screen.
