Hey all! One my second Dodge/RAM diesel now. Bought new CCSB in 2003, black 4x4 rubber floors and crank windows. Paid 30k OTD. Man prices have changed! Ran it 200k and she had dings and dents from working in the steel fab business for sure. Sold in 2008 due to “life” lol bad decisions etc. went to a GM product CCLB but was just not as good a fit for me so back with a new 2016 CCSB black 4x4. So it’s now 6 years old and 71k on it with tons of pulling a trailer of equipment or travel trailer. I started building her up into a camping/overland rig last year and still have some to do, AEV XL prospector stuff mainly.
Yesterdays happenings: traveling to the city (I'm super remote in NW WA) for shop supplies and I wake to find she got broken into and all they took was the Snomaster fridge remote and tore everything out from under all the seats and console, glove boxes looking for things that go bang. Three blocks away leaving get rear ended on an icy stretch before the stop sign!
I’d say the RAM got the better end of that tangle.
