Forget the shadow chrome paint for my tips im plastiping the crap out of them lol

I plasti dipped the front and rear bumpers, oem rims and muffler tips. Oh I just got it fukken clean too! Its been a month for the bumpers and tips and 3 months for the rims.

Where the tips easy to take off, or did you just spray them while still attached?

I left them attached. I did them with the bumpers at the same time. That shadow chrome might work for the door handles though.

True im doing the whole truck in a couple weeks once its warmer out ill let ya know ho they came out. IM gonna do my front and rear dodge emblems , tail pipes in the shadow paint and wheels in plasti dip

The shadow paint is garbage if you paint something bigger then the embloms it will have a greenish tint to it and as far as the tips just unbolt the clamp and youll have to break the spot weld but they go back on real easy.

My suggestion high heat black followed by high heat clear they will look sexy

And as far as the plasti dip not sure how far you drive but if its more then 30 mins i cant see them holding up

Gotta love plasti dip though I agree that it probably won't hold up on the exhaust. Looks good.

***Update*** I drove for 8 hours straight and the tips help up good. This should put any doubts if they will shrink or get damaged due to the heat. It helps if you put at least 4 coats cause thats what I did.

How are your bumpers holding up. Mine seem to be "pulling away" on some of the edges.

Mines holding up pretty well. I made sure I applied enough under that painted lip of the bumper. Ill post some pics after I get her all cleaned up again. Stay tuned.
