new member with a question

hi everyone looked over the site and decided to join I have a 2016 2500 heavy duty crew cab with the 6.4 hemi. I bought it new in may of 2016. It tows the RV really nice. my question is premium fuel is recommended. I have always used it for towing. but I wonder do I need it for everyday driving? I have sold my other truck and now use this one for my daily driver. thanks

I've run nothing but regular in mine. 30k miles. Occasionally towing 8500 lb camper. Try a tank or two, won't hurt and might save a few bucks..

I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 QC with the 5.7L HEMI, I have the SuperChips Performance Tune, I run 93 octane premium fuel. My truck in stock form required 89 octane fuel.

My 2014 6.4L didn't like 87 octane at all, it ran OK with 89 and actually ran a bit better with 92.

Once I got a programmer and a custom tune it ran a LOT better and I got better HWY MPG than I did with the stock and programmer canned tunes.
