It’s really not about being new here but asking questions then evaporating.
What I should’ve said on this subject was that the newbies to stick around and contribute to the forum and not treat us long term members as a drive thru.

I offer my apologies to those I may have struck a nerve with as that’s it my intention and never was.
I’d like to think I have a good reputation and do my absolute best to be a great friend to all New and Old Members.
Again I’m here for life making friends and learning along the way
I’m really looking forward to LSMF in October. Hope to see as many of y’all there as can possibly get there.
P.S. I’m bringing my smoker and seasonings. 2 brisket too.
Y’all bring meats n sides I’ll cook it up.

I Love my 18 Ram 2500HD 4x4 CC

I get what you're saying, Mc, but when with a public forum, that's simply what some folks do...they drive in, get the info they seek (or not), then drive out. I've no problem with that at all; it is, after all, a free country!

I've done the same, I'm not ashamed to admit...I can only keep so many tabs open in my browser before the machine comes crashing down.

Can't wait to get down to LSMF, either, especially since you're cooking..you truly are a great guy (and I'm not just saying that to get a good place in line)!

If so they don't know what they are missing. I visit this site every day, multiple times a day and try to add my experiences to benefit anyone who chooses to listen (or read in this case). I welcome new users who wish to be here and contribute for everyones benefit.

Me too.

My first forum i believe was Subaruforester.org, then Subaruoutback.org, then Honda Fit then Toyota yaris, F150.net. Now i'm here. What interests me as much as the truck info, the members, and helping out, and i love to help, is the psychology of forums. The diversity. Now this forum is a little different/better,than others i've been in. You usually have "that guy" the one if theres 150 new posts that day hes commented and im not exaggerating, on 50 percent at least with this thoughts. Haven't noticed that on here. Then you have the ones that will not rest ever until they have the last word no matter what and so close minded, will not listen to any other ideas at all. Everyone has a right to their ideas. I usually just drop it when i get involved in one of these. I try to stay very neutral and avoid certain areas of conversation that i don't feel i need to stray into. Another thing i've noticed on here, yesterday i believe. One of the newbies asked one of those talked to death questions and a couple said try to search it first,(totally needs to be said) then one of you, not sure who was nice and explained it to them. Liked seeing that, patience, i know its hard to do sometimes. What i do is a very short answer and tell them its been talked about alot. What i'm saying is not only are these people new here, they must be new to forums, because by the time i cut my teeth on the Subaru forums, so i am well versed on the goings on (now that being said, i don't know everything so let me know if theres something else i need to be doing or not doing.)

Also to yalls credit,,(see that lousianan talk there) There are also things i trust the members on here to just go ahead and do to my truck, not even a second thought. It doesn't take too long to know whos who on here, the more experienced, the leaders, the seniors. Thats what makes this the go to place. If the newbies want to come and then go, so be it it will just be us. Cool with me.

I am a new member that joined in the last 60 days and apologize if I offended any of you as I did not do an introductory post. I created an account after a few weeks of searches and did not see very many intro’s. Kind of just fell in-line to follow basic forum etiquette. So I would like to say that I am sorry and unlike others mentioned I did not just create a single question account and run. A little background my name is Keith I owned a 2003 quad cab a few years ago and just recently picked up a 2012 crewcab. I live just outside Philadelphia and own an Audio-Video Company(we specialize in home automation) I am 36 so I was not raised around social media nor do I use FB or other apps contrary to my techie lifestyle. I built my first car when I was in high school and have always been mechanically inclined. I opt for simpler projects now but am always looking to push the envelope and going the extra mile. Reading this post made me feel as if I disrespected this forum and it’s members so I felt compelled to write my small introduction and apologize again for anyone I may have offended. I have nothing but respect for all of you

^^^. Now that my friend was well written. It’s really hard to offend me as I view the forum as just that, a forum. I would like nothing more to meet with several people here as I like passing thoughts with like minded individuals. I’m located in South Jersey for any and all who are interested in meeting. :)

^^^^^^^^^This right here!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^

I pay attention to the knowledgeable ones who have "been there, done that" with these trucks. Try to help when I can either in what I have done with my truck or my general old fart experience. This is a awsome forum, a Ramily of like souls if you will and I am proud to be a member...(want/need a ramforum window sticker to show my solidarity lol) Life is short, enjoy what we are a part of and if people wanna do drive by forum runs...

Many of the people that contact DeereGuy & I (M² Mods) have few if any posts at all...

The forum/our vendor page is the only way to get in touch with us initially (Keeps the email/phone spam down). We usually try to get them active/post feedback in our related threads.

I have gathered a lot of pertinent information as well as entertainment after being led here by a google search. I now use the forum search function as a member. I have commented a couple of times so far and do intend to stay for information to gather and share.
As for posting any valuable information myself...I don’t currently have any at the moment.
As for introducing my self, I am not so Forum savvy so I really didn’t know where to introduce myself or that it was necessarily relevant.
I’m still learning through trial and error how to use the GD menus. Lol
I also didn’t realize that I was joining a forum with so many overly sensitive members. Jeesh.
Just kidding.

Maybe FNGs could be by default sent to an intro thread upon joining?

Anyhooooooooow I’m glad to be here so here’s my intro...
I’m from Stirling Ontario. I have a 2018 RAM 1500 Sport Night Edition which is exclusively mine to drive and modify. Wife and kids have own vehicles. Finally.
I also have a 2007 Mega Cab (sort of...my new driver daughter just pulled into oncoming last week and got T boned) Waiting to here from insurance. Was going to sell it but now who knows.
Love both my trucks, but obviously love the non wrecked truck more.
So there ya go here I am.
Sorry that all was a little wordy.
