New Morimoto xb headlights help

I just got my replacement housings that fix the hyperflash and other issues. The wiring is different on them and the oe plug that is supposed to plug into the truck is already plugged into something. Has anyone installed the fixed version of the headlamps yet? If so how do I plug it in. Morimotos site only has the old version of the lights.

Projectors. But I noticed on their site that they took away the option to select quads or projectors so I’m thinking they’re universal now.

The plug at the bottom of the pick looks like it would fit either the turn/park or high/low connector for quads.

Can you take another pic with the wires layed out a little better

Unplug it.

If I am looking at it right the bottom connector are the other two are feeding the headlight connector.

Unplug that big connector from the headlight connector and there you go.

Got it! Thank you though. They made them universal to both styles of headlights and just didn’t inform me of the change.

I’m not sure because I believe the white wire is important. I didn’t wanna try to remove anything it’s worth a shot though. It would make sense.

From the big man himself. You can in fact remove the other harness that is intended for the quad trucks.

I just left mine but it looks like you can just disconnect everything. Might have to cut the white wire but I’m not sure. I didn’t get a good look at it. I just wanted them in the truck and get my faulty ones out

They also changed the interior of them. They added matte which is nice. My originals were all piano black.

Yes everything is now functioning properly. It was getting frustrating listening to the hyper flash. Very relieved it’s all resolved.
