Just recently got a new to me 2022 1500 with a 6" lift.
Was wondering if anyone else running a 6" replaced their running boars/nerf bars with something else to make it easier to get in and out and what did you get, was it a significant improvement?
My wife is having a hard time getting in and out.

Either get AMP steps or carry a step stool in the truck lol.

Caveat: I was gonna upgrade my 2019 with a 2023 that had a Rough Country 4” lift kit. But the truck was nice but screw dat lift stuff. I am 5’8” and just wasn’t gonna go and have to jump in/out every time just saying.

Why I still got my 2019.

My wife did mention a step stool with a rope attached..

yeah, I bought it online without test driving it first and its a little higher than I was expecting. I also have a Jeep Wrangler with a 4.5" lift on 35s and it is no problem getting in it but it has the amp steps on it.
I was looking at the Amp or Lumasteps but they are just so expensive.

I work from home, and anytime we get out its just the next town over so it might see 5000 miles a year. Should be good for awhile I would hope.

Haven’t checked for awhile, but Amp power steps used to, and may still, be available with extended reach for lifted trucks. Makes it much easier to get in and out.

I just looked at Lumastep M2 and I wouldn’t touch Amp after seeing what goes into making those, plus they have built in LED strip, with sequential lighting and switchback to work with turn signals even. They’re nice af. 20% off for Black Friday. Google Boost Auto Lumastep M2 for Ram 1500. I have the same truck but with the the 22” black limited wheels.
