Finally made it to the track. Last time I ran a 15.25@87. Only dif this time is the LT headers. It was about 10* colder last time too. I think I could have gotten a lil better. Maybe!! This was my third pass and my times kept getting better as it cooled off. They closed due to rain. So this was the best of the night. 15.17@89

20-30 mins. I have a new fan controller but haven't changed it yet. My fan doesn't cycle like it should so I was letting cool down I between runs.

It's funny to me that my 60' was better in my 15.25 run. It didn't feel like it but I must have spun a little on the 15.17 run.

Are those times with the factory 20" wheels? If so, sometimes even with the 3.92's I assume you have, it might help to have a "little" bit of spin to help wind it up quicker in the powerband and get those big hoops rolling.

Good Job!

Any idea what kind of air or altitude (DA) that you were working with that day?

I've run pretty much every drag strip in SoCal (before they all started shutting down) with pretty much every car or bike I ever owned or were invited to drive for them. I miss it. It could be frustrating, as it really is much more of a science, with 100 or more tiny things that impact every run... but most people think it is a quick, simple "step on the gas and go when you see green" type of thing.

Glad to see people out there still hacking at times. A new PB is always a great feeling. And, damn well earned, I don't care what numbers one is running.

*I have some drag vids in my sig line if you are bored and have some time to kill on the Y'Tube.

Go to Drag times and go to Da calcutator. It will provide track info put it in based on your run and will give you a da # and you can see if it effected the run.

I couldn't get it to calculate the da for the 20th. This is probably a little closer anyway. The 20th said it was 45* out. It was 62* on my overhead.
