What temp and elevation were you running in on that pass? Also, are you on the stock 20" wheels/tires?

2.8-3k torque converter, lighter wheels with slicks or drag radials, and throw in some longtubes without cats if/when you can. Should get you down to mid 13s with weather conditions like that.

Take Tyler's advice. The shorter/lighter drag radials alone should get you very close to that 13.99 pass, but the converter and longtubes will put you in the mid 13's in good air.

What's the smallest wheel I can fit on my truck? On the back. I know 17s are probably the smallest on the front.

17's front and back

I dropped 5 tenths off my ET's with these on all 4 corners (4x4)

Moto Metal 951's, 17" x 9" -12 offset
Mickey Thompson ET Street DR's 295/45R17

Went from 14.3's to 13.8's at 2500' DA (13.4 corrected)
(RCSB 4x4, 3.55's, intake, catback, Diablo 93 canned tune)

I use to run that same tire and size on my 2012 mustang gt. They're pretty expensive.

I thought they were a bargain at $199 ea compared to my old street tires
Nitto Terra Grapplers are over $420 for 305/50R20's in Canada.

They don't require a massive burn out to heat them up so they will last forever.
Mine are 4 years old now and still look like new, made about 100 passes per season on them.

I chose tires and wheels for lighter weight, better grip,
and effective gear ratio drop from 3.55 to about 4.20:1

A gear swap would have cost me over twice as much as tires/wheels.

X2^^^ well said, shorter tires if you want to go that route. If not then full exhaust and a dialed in tune,180 thermostat to help keep temps down at full operating temp and so you can run more timing in your tune. That should get you pretty close to that 13.99 without touching gears or tires, but those big ass tired and wheels are not helping your cause

I'm going to look around for some factory 17s and put some mt's on the back. Hemifever seems to have to tune pretty spot on. Especially since the update.

17" Factory Aluminum wheels are super light, only 24lbs
If you want to go cheap, a pair of 28" tall 275/55R17 General Grabber UHP's
are pretty good for racing, soft and sticky for about $140 ea.

I was gonna go the small tire route on my ram just to break 13's too. Same city as BLACKRAMHEMI so I know it should run close (sans supercharger obviously).

I was gonna...til I test drove a new 15 SCAT PAK challenger...

Not even thinking the truck anymore haha. Coulda been a 50K $ mistake of a test drive!

I've had 4 mustangs. 02,09,11 and 12. I'll admit I'm a Ford man and Dodge. Still LOVE mustangs. I was running 11.40s in my 12 mustang gt auto. With only an o/r x pipe, magnaflow competition catback, 4.10s, lca, drag radials and AED tune but I think the next sports car I buy will be a challenger.

Nice times in your Mustang, especially with the rather soft 1.73 60 foot time!

I also have had MANY Mustangs including a Procharged '11 GT and the '11 3.7 V6, 6 speed manual that I traded in on my '14 Ram.

At the time that I traded it in it was the quickest all motor 3.7 Mustang in the country; running a 12.60 @ 109 MPH with a 1.70 60 foot time on 295/45/17 MT drag radials.
