New Ram owner in Orlando area

Hey everyone, new to the forum, but not new to Ram trucks or 4x4's in general (I have a 1974 Jeep CJ5 too). I'm in the process of buying an electric blue, 2001 Ram 1500 Sport, regular cab, Off-Road package, 5.2L with the 5-speed manual. This was HARD to find, so I'm really glad I waited and didn't settle for less than what I wanted!
Many years ago I had a black Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, regular cab, Laramie SLT, 5.2/auto. Loved the truck overall but hated the automatic tranny! Looking forward to getting this new one home!

Thanks! I'll post pics as soon as I get it home next week. As with most gearheads, I have lots of plans for this truck already picked out...LOL... A previous owner put a 3" body lift on it, I hate body lifts so it'll get a 3" long-arm suspension later, and drop the body back down. My wife has a bad back so I don't want to lift it too tall. I also want to be able to fit it in my house's garage to work on it, not worry about drive-thru's and parking garages, etc.

FYI - I graduated with honors from Universal Technical Institute a couple years ago, which has really just made me really good at my hobby, so if anyone needs advice, or help in/around the Orlando area I'll be happy to assist.
