Start out with a test light and determine from the truck side what is tail lights, and right & left directional, and ground. Test your new lights with a battery, or a jumper wire after you figured out what each wire from the truck does. The two wire lights are just power & ground, where your 3 wire lights should be tail, turn, and ground. Your new lights should also show what color wire does what.
