So, it was finally time to replace the factory Transforce AT's. After looking for months, reading, researching, checking prices, and driving myself nuts, I went with the new Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain AT in 275/65/20.

These are a new tire specifically made for Discount Tire/America's Tire. They are more or less a milder version of the Duratracs, and much quieter. I honestly can't even hear them at all. I don't know how long they will last, as they are soft, but for the price I thought I'd try them.

So far, after a few days I love them. Haven't towed the 5th wheel yet, but will be next weekend.

Thanks guys! So far they are great. I can't believe how quite they are to look as aggressive as they do.

I'll be pulling the 5th wheel back to WV next weekend, so we will see how they do towing. Also putting the 6.4 to the test with some weight. It does great in the low county of Georgia, but no hills down here.

So, as an update. The tires are riding great and are still very quiet. My only concern is my mpg has dropped down to about 12.9-13.2. (This is the truck calcs, not mine as I haven't had a chance to hand calculate and adjust the height change)

Before I was getting around 15.6 mpg. I wouldn't think going from the 33.5" to 34.1" tire would make that significant of a drop. But I also am contributing it to the cooler, denser air and the other factors that come with cold weather.

After thinking about it I have contributed part of it to cooler weather and winter blend gas.

Overall I really like the tires. They look awesome in person and ride really well compared to the factory Transforce ATs.

Love it when tire companies do this! They do look just like Duratracs. I imagine they perform just as well too. Gratz!

I paid $267 each and they gave me $35 per tire trade in. I was out the door for right at $1100 after all was said and done. Also had a $60 rebate promotion. Not much, but every bit counts.

Will do! I'll be towing with them tomorrow or Saturday from Georgia to West Virginia. So I should have a towing report on them for you guys too.

That Kanati looks very similar to the Duratracs.

Also don't forget your speedo is off now. It was set for the smaller tire and now has a larger tire so the truck is going further than it thinks it is because its going faster than it thinks it is. Check this link for actual difference in mph.

They aren't off enough to worry a out reprogramming. But my mileage has leveled off lately.

Towing they did great. The pressure did rise a bit and kept turning on my TPMS light on the dash. But again, I was towing heavy this last time. I haven't had a chance to test them in snow as we haven't had much yet.

I'll try to keep everyone updated as I find out more about them.

Just about anything has to be better than the OEM Transforce AT’s
