Hey everyone, I have a Stock 2012 Ram 1500 with the stock 20" rims. I recently started paying on some new BFG TA KO2's the sizes are 305/55r20 and I was curious if i would have to put a leveling kit on for these tires to fit right and would they fit the stock 20" rims or are they too wide for those rims? I am also thinking about getting some 2" wheel spacers for them but I am hearing that they're unsafe any comments on that?

Thanks!

If you have the stock 9 inch wide rims they will fit. Worse case you would need 1/4 inch spacers if they rub the inner suspension components.

I've got 1.5" BORA wheel adaptors on my truck, they really make it look mean! I'm running 35" Duratracs with a 5" lift.

i got them at Discount Tire because they have such a good warranty on them, it was 1,800 for warranty, installation, life time rotation and all that so i guess they were around 1,400 for just the tires

Mine were bought from discount as well, nitto trail grapplers with everything. I shopped around and haggled them on the price but I must've got lucky!

Damn. 315/70/17 bfg's can be had for under a grand.

I got quoted for the 275/65/20 KO2s for right under $1100 out the door installed from a local mom and pop place. I couldn't justify another $700 for slightly wider.

To the OP, I bought 305/55r20 toyo open country at2's, put them on stockers with 2" spacers and absolutely love the stance. I currently have a 2.5" leveling kit with a 1.5" body lift and have 0 rubbing with no fender modifications. I have had leveled trucks, moderately lifted trucks, and trucks lifted 10" and I think my current truck's stance is my favorite.

WTF are you guys talking about "STANCE". That is some burnt rice right there. Try "Offset". rolls better off the tongue and it wont get you punched in the face when talking to truck people.

This is your brain on "Offset":
