New to Dodge/Ram, just test drove a 1500 classic. NICE!

I’ve been a Ford guy most of my life, starting with a 1959 Ford Galaxy that I paid $135.00 for…a real rust bucket but I was 17.

I had an f150 with the 2.7 ecoboost and it was fine. Then I drove my son’s Ram on a short trip and I really liked it. So, after a few months and a couple more test drives I traded for a 2019 classic bighorn last October.

I really like the ride and the overall comfort. Compared to the “buckboard” ride of the Ford, the ride is like a Caddy. The hemi is more powerful than I really need but great to have.

The standard options of the bighorn are very nice but more than I was looking for…but I got the best deal on it. I’d have been happy with a tradesman.

I would recommend a Ram to anyone looking for a newer truck. I prefer the classic but the 5th gen is nice too.
