When my dad died, my mom left his truck just sitting under the carport for 6 years, not being used. She finally signed it over to me and last weekend I went to get it. I'm gonna replace EVERY fluid in it (oil, transmission, coolant, brake, power steering, differential) and put new tires on it. I'm taking it to my mechanic next week to have him do a complete check-up on it and make sure everything's good to go on it then I'm gonna start using it full time. It's a Ram 2500 with 5.9L Cummins. 2004 with only 117k miles.

Welcome to the group !
I would also think about draining the fuel tank and replace with fresh Diesel !
And any fuel filters as well !

Yessir, that's also what I'm having my mechanic do. Thanks for the input!
